The next generation of powerful non-antibiotic UTI management.

Solv Wellness introduced the first clinically proven and most effective 36 mg PAC cranberry supplement for rUTI management to the US in 2010, earning the trust of urologists nationwide.

What makes GennaMD clinically effective?

Unlike other cranberry supplements, GennaMD utilizes a proprietary double-extraction process. This results in 30% PAC concentration, the highest levels of soluble A-type PAC available, while the next highest is 18% ranging from <1% to 15% PAC concentrate. Soluble A-type PAC exclusively found in concentrated cranberry juice extract allows the PAC to effectively bind to the bacteria. Whole-berry and other products have little to no effect because the PAC in those products bind to the cellulose in the skin, seeds, and flesh of the berry rather than targeting the bacteria.4,6,7

GennaMD contains only soluble PAC from concentrated juice extract.

Research has identified soluble A-type linkages in PACs as a critical inhibitor of the adhesion of P-fimbriated and Type 1 Pili uropathogenic bacteria to urothelial cells. This mechanism of action is known as bacterial Anti-Adhesion Activity (AAA) and is the evidence-based foundation of GennaMD’s effectiveness.8,9

A dose-dependent, randomized, double-blind study determined that a minimum of 36 mg of highly soluble A-type PAC, only found in the concentrated juice of the berry, is required to promote bacterial Anti-Adhesion Activity and contribute to UTI prevention.10

Maximum power in the smallest cranberry PAC capsule available.

Our complex, proprietary manufacturing process extracts the highest levels of soluble PAC from pure cranberry juice concentrate. This advanced formulation delivers 2x the soluble PAC per milligram, ensuring GennaMD has the maximum potency in the smallest capsule.

GennaMD is the most potent UTI supplement per milligram, with a category-leading PAC concentration of 30%, far surpassing the low levels found in other cranberry supplements from 18% to a typical range between <1% and 15%.

We lead with science.

GennaMD’s proven active ingredient, bioPAC™, is backed by three clinical studies. An additional 21 studies support its 100% soluble juice extract PAC formulation.

The PAC in GennaMD bind to the P-fimbriae and Type 1 pili, effectively neutralizing bacteria and allowing them to be washed away with the urine stream in a normal and healthy manner.

Not all PAC are created equal.

GennaMD takes all the PAC from the most refined and concentrated juice extract, ensuring it is 100% soluble.

As a result, all of the PAC in GennaMD provides the most powerful anti-adhesion activity against UTI-causing bacteria.

Other cranberry supplements either use mostly or only the remains from the cranberry and other fillers, which are not effective, just to get to 36 mg of PAC.

Dosing

To maintain a clean urinary tract: Take 1 capsule daily with water about the same time every day. For known triggers (such as travel, stress, lack of hydration, or inability to visit the bathroom ) or if early warning signs, take 2 capsules daily as needed, then return to one daily.

For postcoital UTIs: Take 2 capsules before or after sex and then 2 the following day (4 capsules total).

GennaMD won’t treat or cure a UTI, but will help maintain a clean urinary tract to avoid future infections.

Cranberry origins

The choice of the cranberry-starting material is based on 15 years of experience with many cultivars and geographies. It takes into account the variety, extraction yield, PAC content, and Anti-Adhesion Activity (bioactivity), which are the main historical criteria.

Medical-grade formulation

Our complex, proprietary manufacturing process extracts high levels of PAC from pure concentrate cranberry juice extract, which allows the PAC in GennaMD to bind to the bacteria. Whole-berry products and other products have little to no effect because the PAC in those products bind to the skin, seeds, and flesh of the berry instead of the bacteria.

GennaMD is a medical-grade* cranberry supplement due to it’s high purity and quality ingredients that are tested rigorously for contaminants and offer enhanced bioavailability and efficacy. GennaMD follows strict FDA Current Good Manufacturing Process (cGMP) in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 117 (21 CFR Part 117) of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).

Monograph highlights importance of standardized cranberry supplements to initiate bacterial anti-adhesion

American Herbal Pharmacopoeia (AHP) released a 96-page review for dietary supplements made from cranberry. Studies referenced in the monograph were conducted by leading authorities and some were initiated by Solv Wellness, formerly known as Trophikos, and European partners. These studies highlight the importance of standardized 100% soluble cranberry juice extract PAC in promoting bacterial anti-adhesion. GennaMD is standardized to the recommended 100% soluble 36 mg PAC delivered in one capsule and proven to reduce the adhesion of E. coli and other bacteria to the urinary tract wall – the first stage in the development of a UTI. *Medical grade typically means the product is manufactured under stringent quality controls and production standards similar to those used in the pharmaceutical industry. Medical grade is not a term regulated by a single global standard in the dietary supplement industry. Consumers should look for certifications, third-party testing, and clear documentation of manufacturing practices to verify these claims.
